The graduation ceremonies were proudly held for 22 students from Chihuahua who successfully completed advanced technological training in Taiwan, as part of the Talent Development Program Chihuahua in Taiwan of the State Government.

This group becomes the first from Chihuahua to receive specialized training in Asia, strengthening the talent that will drive the state’s technological and industrial development.

The ceremonies were attended by Alan Tsao, Director of the X Innovation Research Group at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and Charles C. L., Deputy Business Director at ITRI, who reaffirmed their commitment to collaboration in the development of specialized talent.

INADET General Director, Eng. Sergio Mancinas, congratulated the students on their effort and dedication and thanked ITRI and the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) for their support, as well as the educational institutions and the students’ families. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening the bilateral relationship between Taiwan and Mexico as a strategic axis for industrial development and for positioning Chihuahua in the semiconductor sector.

Throughout their stay, participants strengthened their technical knowledge, broadened their global perspective, and faced academic and cultural challenges that significantly contributed to their personal and professional development.

Sharing his experience, Aaron Martínez stated that “it was very enriching and allowed me to learn about new cultures, improve my technical skills, and expand my perspective on emerging technologies.”

Alan Kortright Farías highlighted that “learning from a leader like Taiwan in semiconductor-related fields was an invaluable experience that I hope more young people can have.”

Likewise, Evelin Salgado shared that the experience motivated her to pursue research and science, while Héctor Granillo expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Chihuahua and contributing to the state’s technological and industrial development.

This achievement reaffirms the value of international cooperation, highly specialized talent development, and a forward-looking vision that drives Chihuahua toward an economy based on innovation, science, and knowledge.
