Chihuahua Expands Its Partnership with Japan
The State Government, through the Chihuahua Global initiative, led a trade mission to Japan with the goal of attracting more foreign direct investment and establishing new strategic alliances.
During the visit, state officials met with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and leading companies in advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, information technologies, and smart mobility.
In addition, the Chihuahua Economic Development Agency (Prodech) presented the “Invest in Chihuahua” strategy, while Sergio Mancinas, General Director of the Institute for Technological Development Support (Inadet), highlighted the state’s specialized technical training that sets it apart.
This mission reinforces Chihuahua’s commitment to promoting innovation, industrial growth, and international cooperation, consolidating its position as a reliable and competitive destination for Japanese investment.
